Please note that the workshop dates have been moved to 19-22 November 2012 to form part of the German South African “Year of Science 2012” which will run from mid 2012 to mid 2013.  This is in recognition of the iThemba LABS/WITS/Darmstadt K600 collaboration now spanning nearly two decades.

The aim is to hold a workshop focusing on the physics vision for high energy-resolution nuclear spectroscopy with magnetic spectrometers and the associated requirements to achieve these measurements.  A focus (although not exclusively) will be on 0° and small angle scattering and reactions and recent developments and future plans at RI beam facilities. The workshop forms part of the German / South African “Year of Science 2012”, in recognition of the iThemba LABS / University of the Witwatersrand / Technical University Darmstadt collaboration now spanning nearly two decades.

There will be no proceedings.
